Sudan E

Type Locality and Naming

Red Sea coastal area of Sudan. The term "Abu Shagara Group" describe the Quaternary carbonates and clastic units, this group can be subdivided into a clastic (Wardan Fm) underlying a distinct carbonate (Shagara Fm) (Yagoub, 2007).
